Here are just a few of the wonderful comments left by The Cliffe Hotel guests.

"Very Good Value for Money - My wife and I followed up a recommendation by a stranger and so it was with some trepidation we booked for three nights. However, we needn't have worried because the Hotel turned out to be everything we had hoped for. Our room was on the top floor, was large and well appointed and above all was clean. Complimentary water, soap and shampoo all available in the en-suite. Wide choice at breakfast and well cooked. Ate in the Hotel lounge each evening and the food we ordered was excellent."

"Usually we research where we are going to stay at great length, this time we did not. We were not disappointed. Cliffe Hotel is absolutely perfect for us. Quiet, out the way but yet convenient for the town. Staff were attentive but 'not in your face' Fabulous !!! When next in Ludlow we will hope to stay at the Cliffe again."

"Good location in Ludlow. We stayed for two nights in June while touring the Shropshire Hills area. The room was comfortable, the breakfasts were excellent, Helen and her staff were very helpful and kind. Good location, nice view & about 10 minutes from town, enough uphill to work off breakfast."

"A lovely peaceful Winter break - We wanted to re-explore Ludlow, a town that we had visited 20+ years ago. Many things thankfully were just the same. We explored the town (lovely varied architecture), shops, castle and museum. The river and hill walks were inspiring. The hotel was just right. Great to stay out of town but an easy and pretty walk in. The hotel was just right, providing all that we needed. A very peaceful, attractive and un-crowded town. Eating out was also a pleasure."
